Hope you have the adapter, and this little trick, you now know. The Jumper, as the IC is 5V,
should be there.

Hopefully, it will work for you  :)

I have ASQ906 - PLCC32   adapter and did try with dip28 version but it did not work.
No jumper on my adapter?
Adapter is ASQ906 no jumper, Your is ADP-006.
So I need another adapter, thank You!

PS.
Can ASQ906 be modified to ADP-006?

    As an User.....  The answer is yes, but it's a 'pain in the neck' not a single pin will remain in place, and the modified adapter may not work because of length of wiring, and the new adapter is less then 6
