SN001 adapter with T48

Hi all, is it possible to use this adapter board with the T48 programmer?
I have some 29F400/29F800 flash based kickstart roms for the Commodore Amiga and i want to reprogram them with newer rom images.

The tsop48 chips are soldered to a 40 pin dip board to adapt them to the 27C400/27C800 pinout and to reprogram them without desoldering the tsop chips there is an adapter board that sits on top of this base board.

Would this work on the T48 or will i need to find a different solution or desolder the flash chips, reprogram them and then solder them back down?

Thanks

Hello scrappysphinx,   As a user... Because i don't know  this board, when you program it

in TL866II pro, you program it as 29F400/29F800, or the native IC that is on the board, M29F800FT?

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have a couple of these devices and some use the 29F400 tsop48 chips and the others use 29F800 tsop48 chips. The dip adapter board converts the pinout to a 27c400 or 27c800.
In order to reprogram them I have to either remove the tsop chips and reprogram them in my
ADP_F48_EX-2 then solder them back onto the dip adapter however someone has designed the programming PCB in the above photo that allows me the tsop chips to be reprogrammed without desoldering then by using the SN001 tsop base for the TL866 II (programmed as a 29F400/29F800 in tsop mode) but I'm not sure if the SN001 tsop base board can be used with the T48 or if it will only work in the TL866 II
There is some information about it here

https://shred.zone/cilla/page/467/flash-amiga-rom.html

I hope that clarifies a little?

Thanks

Hello,         As the TsopXX ICs are programed as is, using any programmer will need an external adapter similar the
one you show for TL866IIPro, to 'reverse' the pin order to the 'native' IC. Most programmers are pin to pin, then using
T48 or using T56, the adapter should be simple to make as T56 have already 48 pin socket as no extension cable to the extra pins,
41,42....connect to the programmer front header. For a reference only, you have a page
T48 Adapter DIY (T48编程器自制适配器) - 编程器使用与软件下载 - XGecu Programmer Forums - Powered by Discuz!

were some DIY adapters are already present, maibe yours one day is there for other users enjoy.

Anyway, maybe ADMIN, or other user, helps with 'miracle' entries for the 29F800FT and 29F400, four and five pin headers, in
the XGECU software, to address it natively those boards, direct in programmer socket (if possible), plus info were to connect the cables to front end.

Hope it helps , sorry if no :-)
