For the older bipolar PROMs such as N82s191CN3 or CY7C291A, only READ support is important to me. PROGRAM support can be left out.

For MC68705 series, some information can be found at the following URLs:

In general, READ support is most important. If PROGRAM support is initially left out, that is acceptable.
