How to program a PIC16F1829 via a QFN20 to DIP20 adapter?

How to program a PIC16F1829 microcontroller in a QFN20 enclosure via a QFN20 to DIP20 adapter like the one pictured.
The DIP20 pins in the adapter do not match the pins of the microcontroller in the DIP20 enclosure.
Is it possible to change the order of the pins?

    Hello,
If electrical signals are the same, you need the very same approach already used with PLCC20 to DIP20 for many years. Pin 18 -> 1 , Pin 19 to 2...etc, same as yours but design of IC 45 deg
counterclockwise to allow easy drawing .... Did not found one already made, but show here the plcc20 to DIP20
as an example. If you are skilled, you can build your own adapter, or use your shown adapter, but  cutting actual connections, and rebuild using small wires to route the correct pins in the pcb , or actual wires, wired to a lower
DIP20 compatible connector that fit the programmer, and select Dip20 IC in the app. Hope it helps.

Hello!
Thank you very much for the suggestion. This might be useful if you can't change the pin alignment in the programmer.
If it wasn't for the fact that I have little space and therefore care about a QFN enclosure, I would choose SOIC or SSOP.

Thanks again and best regards.
