As an user.....The T56, already have it there ( latest version 11.90) it uses a pin to pin 44 pin PLCC-DiP adapter.
The TL866II , need you do a 'trick', you should select the already there 40 DIP version, but also use a special adapter

As you may imagine, with an 40 pin Dip main socket , you need a conversion socket from the PLCC44, and you are lucky if you buy it already . Be aware of jumpers positions :-)
