Unable to protect Atmega8A

Hello,
I am programming IC Atmega8A. While doing so, I am unable to protect it.

Program gets written in IC and works fine, but, IC remains unlocked.

Below is snippet of config and error. Please guide/help with resolution at earliest.

   Hello,            As a user.... I'll recommend the reading of thread atmega328p isuue - TL866II使用问题解答 - XGecu Programmer Forums - Powered by Discuz!  as it appears to be related, not the same, but maybe the same cause, that lead to the replacement of main exec of 11.6 app. Hopefully helps.
