The device list for the T56 has the TMS2716 EPROM listed but it clearly can not program this device. The TMS2716 is unique as it requires +5, -5, +12V for normal operation and also requires that Vcc be raised to +12V for programming. Additionally the device also needs +25V for Vpp.
So some sort of adapter will be needed that can generate these voltages.
This is unlike other TMS27XX parts like the TMS2516 which only need +5V and the appropriate Vpp voltage.

If anyone happens to have a design for an adapter I would gladly do a PCB layout for such a device and put it up on JLCPCB so that others can
benefit. I would do the design myself but I have way to many projects at the moment.
