I'm trying to program an SST39SF020A-70 flash chip with the TL886II-Plus but keep getting a "Programming ...Failed" error at 6.25%. Reading the chip and erasing works OK. I have a few of these chips and tried 3 and all show the same error.

I had some luck solving the problem. A14 was shorted to A8 through some dodgy-ness on the PLCC32 to ZIF adapter. I was able to rework it and it fixed the programming problem.
