Hello, I need to read an EPROM AT27C1024 PLCC44, and I am using the PCC44-DIP40 adapter to do it.I have not problem with any other chips that I have read with my TL866II, but with this EPROM it is imposible.
I have check the pins of the adapter to verify every conections and it is ok.
When I try to read the EPROM AT27C1024, I select the chip in the ATMEL list, I pulse the READ button and the programmer detects error on all the pins of the chip. If I ignore the "Pin detection" then I read as a blank chip ($FF), but I know the chip is not blank.
Is it posible that there is an error in the reading/programming algorithm for this chip?
I need some help, pleasse.

Hello, I'm sorry. ¡I have solved the problem!. It was the adapter, is not compatible fot AT27C1024.The GND pins of the 40DIP socket, correspond to the pins 13 and 33 of the PLCC44 socket, pins nc of the chip, so the chip was not conected to GND.
I have solder two cables from the pins 11 and 30 of the DIP40 to the pins 12 and 34 of the PLCC44 socket, and IT WORKS!.
