When choosing this microcircuit 25Q128JW, as well as other microcircuits working from 1.8v, it is impossible to read and write. The programmer writes that the overcurrent protection has tripped. Setting the protection threshold to 350mA does not solve the problem. You have to choose another type of microcircuit operating from 3.3v, and then reading and writing occurs at an increased voltage. It is not normal.

I only have W25Q64JW as a replacement for 128JW testing,writing half the capacity, and the software should be fine.

Possible problem with USB power supply？
