   As a user: Are you using latest software version 12.45? Do you have any error? any annoyance, or bad result? Please, describe better step by step what you are doing. With the free software, you can simulate the programmer you already have, or not. It's not the same as real work, but may answer some questions.

I've seen that title. But, because it's a different manufacturer, I was afraid to install my chip. The device where my chip is installed partially works.
I haven't done anything yet.
The m48t58 from manufacturer ST has a different function on one of the pins,
and m48z58 from manufacturer SGS-*** - I couldn't find the documentation.
